The wine is golden yellow in colour. The aroma is neutral with a hint of compote pear and gingerbread. The taste is full-bodied, long with a slight spiciness. As the wine was trained on fine yeast lees in a large French oak barrel, it is harmonious and is well suited for pairing with heavier poultry dishes or Asian cuisine. An elegant wine suitable for bottle ageing.
